Workshop Objective

The Business Communication & Presentation Skills Program was designed to help participants enhance their ability to communicate clearly and confidently in diverse workplace situations. The program aimed to strengthen verbal and non-verbal communication, build assertiveness to manage conversations and conflicts professionally, and improve written communication with a focus on emails to internal and global stakeholders. The three-day immersive workshop blended conceptual inputs with practical exercises, ensuring participants could apply communication strategies directly to their roles. Sessions explored communication styles, active listening, body language, and assertive conversations, along with storytelling as a tool for influence. Written communication modules covered email best practices, tone calibration, and drafting messages for plant, client, and global contexts. The presentation component emphasized slide design, visual storytelling, delivery techniques, and managing Q&A with confidence. The program concluded with participants engaging in group presentations, receiving peer and trainer feedback, and capturing their learning through commitment cards that outlined specific behavioural changes to implement at work.
