Workshop Objective
The objective of this workshop was to equip JK Tyre’s managers with the ability to apply structured innovation methods to real-world business challenges. The program aimed to help participants:
- Understand and practice the five stages of design thinking — Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test
- Apply empathy-driven research to manufacturing, product, and operational contexts
- Strengthen problem-framing skills for workplace challenges
- Generate creative, practical solutions using structured ideation frameworks
- Prototype and test ideas for operational scalability and business impact
Workshop Summary
This immersive, practice-driven program blended design thinking concepts with hands-on exercises, case-based discussions, and structured worksheets. Participants engaged in empathy-driven research, mapped user journeys, and framed problem statements before moving into ideation and prototyping. Through collaborative group work, they explored how design thinking can unlock new approaches to challenges in product development, manufacturing processes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
