Agile Product Development for the Two-Wheeler Industry

A two-day hands-on program for applying Agile, Scrum, Kanban and hybrid delivery methods across two-wheeler product development, connected features, engineering validation, supplier coordination and production readiness.

Course Summary

Two-wheeler product development increasingly involves interconnected mechanical, electrical, electronic and software systems. Customer expectations also continue to evolve across performance, safety, connectivity, convenience, fuel efficiency, electric mobility and digital experience.

Traditional development models remain necessary for regulatory approvals, tooling, validation and production release. However, purely sequential execution can delay learning, expose integration issues late and make changing customer requirements difficult to manage.

This two-day program enables engineering, product, digital and project teams to apply Agile principles within the realities of two-wheeler development. Participants learn how to combine Scrum, Kanban, Lean and hybrid approaches with existing engineering stage gates, validation requirements and manufacturing processes.

The program follows a 30% concepts and 70% practical application model. Participants work through one continuous two-wheeler case from customer problem to product vision, backlog, iteration planning, engineering validation, review, launch readiness and continuous improvement.

Learning Methodology

The program uses:

  • 30% concepts and 70% practical application
  • Continuous two-wheeler product case
  • Rider-persona and journey mapping
  • Product Vision and MVP development
  • Epic, feature and story-writing exercises
  • Backlog prioritisation
  • Relative-estimation activities
  • Sprint Planning and Daily Scrum simulations
  • Kanban flow design
  • Validation and defect-management cases
  • Supplier-dependency scenarios
  • Sprint Review simulation
  • Retrospective and improvement planning
  • Workplace application project

The learning journey follows:

Customer Problem → Product Vision → Rider Personas → Vehicle Outcomes → Epics → Features → Engineering Stories → Prioritisation → Estimation → Iteration Planning → Daily Coordination → Validation → Review → Retrospective → Metrics → Continuous Improvement
